About me
I'm often asked why I chose to study Media Technology, but I am still not entirely sure (I have many theories) so I would rather tell you about why I have enjoyed my studies. I've always had a fondness for learning, regardless of the subject matter, and what draws me to programming is the combination of continually learning, recognizing patterns, and problem solving. I also really enjoy being in creative environments, working with creative people and creating things together with a group. All this I have gotten from the Media Technology program which is why I hold a bachelor's degree in media technology but as I also wanted to explore more of the world of technology, I am currently working towards a master's in computer science.
In my studies, I've covered a wide range of topics from AI to machine learning and network security. I have also gained a passion for software development which I have explored during the summers doing internships and by doing my own projects, for example this website. Please look around, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Experience
Spring 2021, 2022, 2023 and Autumn 2022
Laboratory assistant, Linköping University
I assisted students during laborations in the course Object Oriented Programming in Java and in the course Programming in C++. These were fun experiences which required a deep understanding of the course material as well as good pedagogical abilities.
Summer 2022
Software developer intern, Sectra
Together with four other students I worked with web development in .NET with C#, React.js and Typescript. We got to be a part of the whole development process and provide to a real and well-used product which was very exciting and educational. I learned a lot about working agilely, with git and with continuous testing.
Summer 2023
Fullstack developer, Upsales
During the summer, I collaborated with a team to introduce a new feature within the Upsales CRM system to facilitate the process of creating documents based on orders. My primary role involved utilizing React.js and Node.js, both in TypeScript, to build robust functionalities. To ensure the quality and reliability of our work, we engaged in comprehensive testing using Jest and React Testing Library.
